Origin:
Manami Kesu was the one to originally create the Enju (カイ えんじゅ) Operations. She created this during the period that Naruto left to train with Jiriya. It was approved under the order of Tsunade Senju and carried out beneath the power of Manami Kesu. When the word of the operation group spread to other villages, she gained the help of two powerful shinobi from the The Land of Earth (土の国, Tsuchi no Kuni) and The Land of Sound (音の国, Oto no Kuni).

Goal of the Enju:
Manami created the group based on the idea that ninja with kind hearts will travel to distress calls after war or disasters to help those who are hurt. They help mainly children and provide for them to be healthy and protected. Tsunade funded this project and continued to work with it until her death or until another shinobi took it over from her. Enju played a big role in the war behind the scenes as they helped assist in wounded shinobi. Sakura Haruno participated in missions that fought along side with the Enju. The Enju is not a full-time job, it is an organization that comes together to help during certain disasters.
